Shipping, Site Preparation, and Installation

Shipping
Upon receipt of an acceptable order (i.e., properly completed paperwork and appropriate payment/deposit), an ATM will be shipped via ground freight to the designated location. Arrival at the destination will usually occur 1-2 weeks from the date of receipt of order and should be during normal business hours. Express shipment via airfreight is available for most models (at an additional cost) and will usually provide for arrival within 5-10 days from receipt of order.

Site Preparation
The Distributor is responsible for ensuring that the proper site preparation has been completed prior to the scheduled installation date for an ATM. Site preparation includes:

Sufficient cleared floor space for ATM placement. Generally, this will be an area measuring approximately three feet square (may vary according to ATM model) and should be on level ground.
An installed and operational "dial-up" telephone line with a standard RJ-11 outlet no more than three feet from the desired ATM placement area. Additionally, this should be a separate, dedicated telephone line, so as to provide uninterrupted service to the ATM. (If necessary, the ATM can share a telephone line with another device, such as a fax machine, but this is highly discouraged.) This type of telephone line can be installed by the local telephone company.
An installed and operational electrical circuit with a standard "3-prong" outlet no more than three feet from the desired ATM placement area. Additionally, this should be a separate, dedicated electrical circuit, so as to provide isolated service to the ATM. (If necessary, the ATM can receive power from a shared electrical circuit, but this is highly discouraged and will void the ATM warranty and service contract in most instances.) This type of electrical circuit can be installed by a qualified electrician.

Installation
The desired date and time of installation will be coordinated between Distributor and merchant and conveyed to Platinum Financial by Distributor for scheduling. (Every attempt will be made to accommodate requested date and time, however some flexibility may be required.) Installation will be performed by factory-authorized personnel and will usually take 1-2 hours to complete. Merchant and/or employee training will be provided by installation personnel during this time; it is, therefore, very important that anyone desiring training be present at this time. Distributor is not required to be present during installation, but may choose to attend if so desired.
